We went to watch the Chariots of Fire race as a number of my work colleagues were taking part. The weather was perfect and a new record time was set by the winning team.
Upon leaving the event we walked down Queen’s Road where I noticed that the local traffic wardens had been out in force ticketing a huge amount of cars, one of them belonging to a guy I work with and I suspect most of them owned by runners taking part in this popular charity event.
So a big well done to the jobsworth traffic wardens for ticketing people who were out raising money for charity!
